National Day Celebration with friends

Happy National Day to all Singaporeans! :D Today is the day where Singapore gained independence during 1965 after world war 2, merging with Malaysia and then conflict.... FINALLY, at 1965, WE GAIN INDEPENDENCE!! :D

Today, we are celebrating our 48th Birthday!! :D Since today is a public holiday, I've arranged to go out with my friends & we all agreed to wear either red top or white top as it reflects out national flag color.

Yay or Nay?

So we had the chance to take pictures at photo booth & get it printed out for FREE with props & the pictures will have frame so yeah, why not? This was one of the props I wanted to use but hahaha, I didn't cuz it looks funny... Now, judge it! Yay or nay?

There was also Beat A Box performance there & it was performed by Box Out, an event I was last week to help build Cajon for the elderly & breaking Singapore Records with them! :D A very meaningful event! :D 

The performance was so good! I literally was marveled by it!

With Arthur, the super "zai" cajonist but a pity that he didn't perform as it was "Girl's power". But none the less, a picture with him although he was not performing! :P

So, this is Eunice, another super "zai" cajonist!!! She perform & I guess she was the main person for today's performance? :P Hahaha!! Great performance!

I don't know if you guys will read this but I wanna say that your performance just now at scape* was very awesome, I totally enjoyed it myself & I really think that you guys did such an awesome job & it was marvelous! :D Wonderful performance! :D Jiayou, keep on Shining! :D

So if you guys are wondering what is Cajon, it is a box. Yeah, a box! But... It is not just an ordinary box, it is a box that is a musical instrument! 

Here are some details to it!

A cajón (Spanish pronunciation: [kaˈxon] (Ka-hone), "crate", "drawer", or "box") is a six sided, box-shaped percussion instrumentoriginally from Peru, played by slapping the front or rear faces (generally thin plywood) with the hands, fingers, or various implements such as brushes, mallets, or sticks.

After that, we went to warehouse to party & wait for AH BOYS TO MEN to come out & sing for us! :P
