Pastor George is indeed a carrier of god's presence. He has impacted many people with his preaching. A great man with tremendous legacy, he was a great man of god.
He has been friends with Pastor Kong for 30 years, a great brother to Pastor Kong.
Even at the last moment of his walk on earth, he still cared So much for his brother and told his church to continue praying for Pastor Kong, Sun & City Harvest Church.
Thank you Pastor George for being so caring to City Harvest Church & Our church leadership! Thank you very much and from the bottom of our hearts, we wanna say we love you very much.
I really thank god for such an awesome man of god we have on earth, to impact the world out there.
Many are sadden by his death & we have lost a great man of god but don't be disheartened for heaven has gain an angel & we all know that Pastor George will be looking down from heaven,interceding for his love ones & protecting them.
Pastor Kong & Sun was with him on Friday and Pastor Kong was reading Psalm 23 to him.
On Saturday, 17th August 2013 at 8:45pm, Sun tweeted "We will always miss u Pst George Ong... Rest in peace... Phi 1:21... to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
And at 8:48, Pastor Kong tweeted "Rest in Peace my good friend & brother, Pastor George Ong. Enter in the joy of the Lord."
Pastor George is the Founder of Church of Singapore (Harvest). He also planted many different churches in Malaysia.
Many of his members were really sadden by the news of his death and I pray for God to continue to empower them to touch lives even though they have lost their Pastor.

I pray for god to continue to move mightily in your church and that the members in your church will continue to grow so strong and be carrier of the presence of god and touch lives in the world just like how Pastor George has done while he was still on earth. I'm sure he will be very happy to see his members continuing the good works that he had started. I also pray that god will make your church to be ever more united than ever.

I pray for god to bless your families in every single areas especially in the area of emotion. Even though that it is so hard to accept the death of a family member, I pray for your families to grow even closer to each other and understand one another better. I also pray that even as this is a period of hardship, you will continue to be strong and be there for one another.
