Sorry I haven't updated for 5 days!! Feeling really bad! Forgive me okay? :P
If you don't never mind, I don't blame you cause I was the one who promised you guys...
So let me briefing say what happened from day 5 - day 10
Day 5:
Didn't sleep & went for service early in the morning! :D
Met Christopher at Members' lounge & had a funny conversation.
Then jasmine can along... We were all talking & went in to the hall at about 9:00am & shortly after that, Sun entered the hall in a rush & she took the microphone up & sang. She told the pianist to give her a "D" and he did. Then everyone thought that Sun wanted to start Prayer meeting already, so all stand up but wee lee, told us to sit down cos he said that she was just warming up her voice! HAHAHA!!! Then she went up to stage & said hi guys, let's all start prayer meeting. Then we all rise again...
During the prayer meeting sun shared with us
"praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— "(Ephesians 6:18 NKJV)
Supplication means asking something earnestly or humbly.
We need to pray prayers of supplication : making heartfelt, earnest, fervent request to Jesus.
We were then called to pray in 2-3 to ask god earnestly for our physical & spiritual need.
After that, sun constantly reminded us that everyday we must set aside time to pray to god earnestly & not thinking about any thing... It is just to seek god earnestly & not ask of anything from him...
Thank you very much Sun for sharing such aspiring word during prayer meeting! I promise that I will turn up for all 52 weeks of prayer meetings! I want to be the empty vessel that god wants to use! :D Thank you for also reminding me that I need to get back on route with god! :D
Service then started at 10:05am, service was awesome & Pastor kong shared about the blessing of Abraham, awesome sermon! :D
Then we went for fellowship! :D played so much awesome game, had so much fun! :D then I went home to sleep early cause I wasn't having enough rest... :P
Then
Day 6 - Day 9:
I was having lessons and went back home to sleep, woke up at about 11pm & started finishing all the homeworks that were due...
Basically I do that all the way till today which is Day 10.
Day 10 had a slightly different thing that happened...
We ended class at the unusual timing, 12:50pm then we all got ready to go for our tour at Temasek Polytechinc by 1pm as there was no lunch break for us.
We then boarded the bus to bring us there and after about 20mins, we arrived with many Temasekian welcoming us at the drop-off point.
We walked quite far & finally went to the School of informative & IT. We played the game "Alice" created by the students & it was for support towards charity. It was named "Code of Charity" then we visited many several booth & had a Poly Foundation Programme (PFP) talk by a speaker.
Then we were dismissed after visiting the School of engineering.
I waited for my cell group member at the middle, at the "Big Mushroom".
While waiting for him, they had to end the events at the stages so they sum it up by dancing to 2 songs, then their school song. It was so cute to see all of them dancing & it reminded me of my Social Studies, Building national identity when they were doing such things.
I had my lunch/dinner at TP canteen & the western food was good but fries was too salty. It was cheap & filling! :D
Eating at TP only cost me $5 which includes a chicken chop set, an egg mayo sandwich & an ice milo. It is literally cheaper than my school food... Like seriously? Gosh!
Then we went for cg and now I'm back home! :D
I'm gonna go bathe now & sleep! Going to visit Ngee Ann Poly & Singapore Poly tomorrow with some of my classmates...
